I am now perched up at 7000 ft or so in Misouri, a gorgeous himalayan village. The air is clean, the locals are indifferent to westerners(good!) and I have my own beautiful room for $5 a night. I look out onto the Himalayas. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it is to be here after choking pollution, crowds, and a triple room in Delhi.
We are going to a school even higher up the mountain today to visit a Tibetan girl who was separated from her parents escaping china. Her uncle, a friend of my bro Patrick, is in Australia, hoping to adopt her. We have gifts for her (that pack my dad gave me). We need to convince her to write to her uncle, as it's required for the adoption. It's nice to have a mission.
I miss you guys, even the ones I don't live near.
